Jen is Maureen’s independent, grounded daughter in her mid-20s who’s recently flown the nest. Fiercely protective and practical, Jen watches her mom’s sudden plunge into the dating world with growing concern. She wants Maureen to be happy—but not at the cost of heartbreak or recklessness. When one of Maureen’s dates turns out to be someone Jen knows—and is uncomfortably close to her own age—tensions explode. Jen is forced to confront her own fears while redefining her relationship with her mom as two women navigating love, identity, and change from very different angles.
